Trunks, Routings, DIDs creation

The platform can send calls to external networks (PSTN, other VoIP platforms, etc.) and receive calls from them through trunks.

To create a trunk, go to the section https://admin.view.ucom4b.com/trunks/ and click “Create New“:

Let's enter the parameters for using the trunk for outgoing calls. Calls through it will go from the platform to the IP address in the “Address” field:

After clicking the "Apply" button at the end of the form, the trunk will be created:

To make calls through this trunk, you need to create a routing in the Routing section https://admin.view.ucom4b.com/routing/

Let’s create “Demo Routing“ and send calls to prefix 7812 via “Demo Trunk“:

To add other prefixes through this trunk or other trunks, press the “+” button. The absence of a prefix indicates that all prefixes are sent to this trunk. Let's bind this routing to the client in the "Client Configuration" section:

Now the “Demo Client“ can only make outgoing calls to the “7812” code via the “Demo Trunk“.

To receive incoming calls via “Demo Trunk“, you need to specify from which IP addresses we are ready to receive calls. To do this, in the "Network Permissions" section, you need to create a list of trusted addresses "Demo Network Permissions":

Then find the trunk in the "Trunks" list https://admin.view.ucom4b.com/trunks/ and specify "Demo Network Permissions" in its settings and allow incoming calls:

By default, a trunk only accepts calls to DIDs assigned to it. To do this, in the “DIDs” section, you need to create a DID:

For example a certain VoIP operator (our partner from the “Demo Network Permissions“ list) sends us the DID “12345678900“: assign it to the “Demo Trunk“ trunk and immediately send it to the IVR “000 * 099” of the “Demo Client“ client:

After clicking “Create”, the DID number immediately became available in the “Demo Client” client's personal account, and he can configure the logic for processing incoming calls to him (more details about working with the client interface can be found here):
